Practicing Law in Quebec

Alex_717

Hello everyone.

So I have a couple of questions. I hold an LLB from the French university in Armenia and Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France) and also an LLM from the American University in Armenia (which has passed accreditation in the US). I was wondering if I could practice law in Quebec if I do an LLM in Canada, at McGill for example. Thanks in advance

chicken so...

You should probably ask this question to either McGill or the Barreau du Québec - which is the law society in the province. But from what I know, after you get your LLM from McGill, you'll have to sit in an a special course, do an apprenticeship, and then take the bar exam.
