On a separate note, has anyone accepted IBL? I sent my acceptance last week and haven't heard anything yet, which was mentioned in the acceptance anyway. Was wondering who else has accepted it.

Hello everyone! I have recieved an offer for IBL yesterday. However, there has been no news with respect to my IADR application yet. Hope IADR decisions would start rolling out soon, so that I can make a final call on IBL.

Seems like Saumya90 is the lone person here who had accepted IBL. Hey Saumya, is there any change in tuition fees for IBL this academic year. Since their website doesn't show this year's fee for IBL, I apprehend, that they are going to hike it. Also, if anyone else can clarify the same, please do.

The fees for IBL is 22000 SGD. You can check the fee if you follow the link on the acceptance letter.

I had checked the fee page on 6 April and it had mentioned the fees as 22000 SGD back then. I rechecked it now after reading your post and it now says T.B.C. I guess they are going to hike it.

I have received an offer for the LLM general on 12th. However, I indicated IADR as my first preference and hoping to receive an offer soon. I have been told that it's possible to change/opt for a specialization after the first semester.

I did receive an automated reply from the Office of Graduate admissions. But even if you haven't received a reply from them, no need to worry.
They have mentioned it that we won't be receiving any acknowledgement!

(ii) How is the IBL degree perceived within Singapore and within India in terms of generating employment opportunities.

(iii) How have previous students from this program fared career wise after acquiring the degree?

(iii) Furthermore after competition of the program does one get a one year period to stay in Singapore in search of employment opportunity?

From what I have heard, usually for apartments one would have to execute a one year lease deed and for which you would have to deposit a lump sum as security. If you are planing to pursue IBl, you will eventually be relocating to Shangai by the end of December. In such an event, rescinding the lease deed and claiming the security usually give rise to complexities. However, don't take it as every apartment rental would be of the same scenario. You know, I was just sharing what I have heard. On another note, it would be extremely comfortable to rent out an apartment if the budget and other issues don't stand in your way. A group, "find your room in sg" in facebook might come helpful to you.

Hello everyone! Scholarship communications seem to have not reached the ones at least in this group. It is understood that, IBL candidates aren't eligible to be considered for scholarship grants. Also, the availability of scholarships for IADR course too remain unknown.

Did anyone hear from NUS with respect to IADR?

Regarding the tuition fees, the hike towards all LL.M for this academic year except for IBL has been 1500 SGD.
