Hey

I received an email from NUS saying that they're still waiting for my IELTS score. I was planning to take the test later sometime in July. They want to "hear from me" latest by 24th April.

Does anyone know how to ask for a waiver from IELTs? Or is there anything else that I can do?

Thanks!

@ayush - you could have applied for a waiver with your application itself. I got a waiver too.

Hey Tanu

Thanks for the reply! I'll try applying for a waiver now. How did you go about applying for a waiver?

It was just a plain application mentioning that I have completed my complete education (schooling & university both) in English.

Hey, does anyone know if it is possible to change streams in the LLM? I have been offered my first preference, but I want to change it, is it possible?

It has been mentioned in the offer letter itself that you can change your stream later on also after a semester. Please read your offer letter properly. I m quoting the following from my offer letter :
"You have been given a place in our LL.M. Corporate & Financial Services Law, but you may change
that in the second semester of your studies if you complete all requirements necessary for a different
specialization."

Hello!

Can any of the current/past NUS students give us some ideas about the job/internship prospects after the LLM?

I know this question has probably been beaten to death.. but it's just that.. it would be good to know what is the current scenario out there.

Can a 2-3 years experienced candidate hope for some opportunities? And do the Law school people provide any assistance in this regard?

Would be of great help to us admitted candidates of 2014-15 to decide upon the course :-)

Thanks!
