@ Tanu. I totally understand your state of mind. I too am going through the same. Not that i am desperate to get through NUS but just that the knowledge of the outcome will quell the curiosity quotient!
As for NUS hats off to their appalling working standards ...total mayhem and just the right example how not to run a university. And by the way what do they mean ."....please drop us a line again."??

@Zabeer -
Yeah I understand ! Even I am just too curious to know and I am getting more impatient to find it out :D
They said "we are emailing the outcome by batches ". I want to know what do they want to know about "by batch". I applied for Corp and Financial. With this interpretation it seems that Corp n Financial results are out since most of the ppl I know have received their results for the same. :(

@ Tanu. God knows what batches mean to them?. I am a 2009 graduate is that what they mean by batches? Let's wait till this week end and I am hopeful that we will get to hear something by then.
Posted Apr 10, 2013 10:13
@Zabeer - No no I dont think so that is meant by batch. My application was received by them on 19th Dec. My frnd suggests that by batch wise they mean the day they started processing of applications.
Posted Apr 10, 2013 10:44
@ Tanu. If that is true i will have to wait for another 6 months as they notified that my application was received by them on 10 January though my application reached them on 30 Dec. Subsequently they had also sent a verification email to my academic referee.
Posted Apr 10, 2013 10:49
lol....even I received a subsequent email on Jan 23 saying that my degree copy wasnt certified and that I had to send it within a week which I posted on the same date. Although, I received no confirmation as to its receiving but I am hopeful that my application would be processed.
Posted Apr 10, 2013 10:59
@zabeer & Tanu,
I think it depends on the time they received our applications.. and that might be why I have to wait some more cos my documents didn't reach them til the deadline day! lol my verification e-mail reached me mid-February so I guess I'll just have to be patient then.. oh well, more time to hope for the best then! :)

Hi! I'm Aparana Jaiswal from Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India. I'm very keen on doing my LLM from NUS with International and Comparative Law as my specialization, and would apply for 2014-15. I've done my entire school in English and my graduation is also being conducted in English. So do I still need to give TOEFL?
Also I'm in the top 15 of my batch of 150 students and I've done around 6 internships (1 in a NGO, 2 in District Courts, 1 in High Court and 2 in good law firms) till now and will have 3 more before I graduate. So do I have a good chance to get into NUS?
Thanks a lot,
Aparana Jaiswal.

sshui,
I'm not sure if today is the last day of announcement, but I figured if I still don't get any news from them I'll drop an e-mail to them to see what's up. Cos they told us they'll let us know the decision via e-mail, whether we're accepted or not.
Let's hope we all get the long awaited news today! :)

Zabeer,
That is just an autogenerated reply from their mailing system. I'm sure they'll get back to you in a bit :)
Is this getting a bit nerve-wracking, or what? Haha fingers crossed, everyone!

I had emailed them on 10th April as I mentioned earlier. Following is the content of the email which I has received:
"As the volume of applications is very large, we are emailing the outcome by batches and will take up till end of this week.
If you do not hear from us by next Monday, please drop us a line again.
Thank you for your patience.
