u r in 4th yr...just relax!!! think abt all this in ur final year....who knows u may even end up changing ur mind!!

NUS is a good place for indians to study. its cheaper, closer to home and from what i hear job perspective is good there. u may even end up working there after completing ur course.

as a university, it is gaining respect by each passing day. it is definitely a great place to study.

As for a strong CV- internships (especially in international law), diplomas, atleast above 65%, publications...these hold importance. and at the time of applying ur statement of purpose should be really strong and try getting recommendation letters from important people.

thanks a ton..!! yeah i am not hell bent on comin back immi.. would jus want to work in this field, bein very honest, yet not bein offensive, i am really keen on getting in anywhere , wud have loved the idea of gettin in NYU, Columbia and the alike, have been readin so many posts and NUS seems more real to me as in, i dont really have abroad internships, no publications as yet either, but thats what i am currently working on and m sure to have some before entring 5th yr. i have a 69% and moots to my name and have taken India and internation law in my optionals, yet am apprehensive.
there is another question, is it better to jus apply in my penultimate yr to NUS which dsn really require work ex or take the risk of working in some place(which too, is not a certainty) and then apply to IVY league. i am pretty good at environment law too and don mind persuing either. but the idea of NUS is appealing as its in Asia and may be i land with a good job here only.
+thanks a lot for ur reply, i don really have any one to really talk LAW abt :)
so please let me know what should i really do?
