The situation looks terrible in some parts of Japan but Fukuoka is safe. Most big earthquakes are usually on the eastern side of Japan.

I sent my reply already minutes after i received their email. But i sent it at around the time the quake happened in Japan. :-| (i only found out Bout the earthquake 30mins after it happened. I heard kyushu wasnt affected. Lets al pray for Japan.

I haven't receive anything...but I am not in Japan now, due to the earthquake I will be back next month......isi weird that you didn't recieve an email......I am still waiting unless they say no...i think we still have a slightly chance

Oh no. =( You're lucky to have been accepted though. Maybe the office you're with now can sponsor your LLM expenses. You can just pledge N years of professional commitment when you get back. =(

I haven't received any official mail from the University. =(

hahaha thanks lei! i don't think the "office" im with now has the money to sponsor hahaha it's alright, at least the waiting part is done and i can move on to pursuing other plans. guess ill be seeing you around here, not there instead. ;) hope to see you soon!

By the way... I never received an Official Confirmation by post?? Everything has just been confirmed via email... Including regarding airports and diplomatic mission, etc? Is that the same for anyone else??

I received the official letter via snail mail, along with the scholarship status and the confirmation page. But initially, they only notified me via email. :-)

Im sure yours is on its way also. :-)
