Berkeley Law offers Advanced Law Degree Programs that are internationally recognized and highly competitive. Here, there are three paths to the same general LL.M. Degree:
- The traditional track, the standard nine-month academic-year program
- The thesis track, an academic year program that includes a thesis, a substantial research and writing project
- The professional track, a unique program that spans two consecutive summer semesters (May - August) semesters

The LL.M. Program at USC Law School is a master's degree program for students trained in law outside the U.S. The program introduces outstanding foreign lawyers to American law and the U.S. legal system and prepares them for leadership roles in the global market. Through the LL.M. Program, foreign lawyers have an opportunity to meet and interact not only with the faculty and J.D. students but also with practicing lawyers from around the world.

Loyola Law School, Los Angeles offers these degrees: (1) Doctor of Juridical Science (JSD), (2) Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM in Taxation), (3) Master of Laws (LLM), (4) Master of Legal Studies (MLS), (5) Master of Tax Law (MT). LLM students may specialize in these areas: International Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment Law, Criminal Justice, and Civil Litigation and Advocacy.
