The Competition & Regulation LL.M. is a unique Graduate Program Degree that offers you legal specialization in the particular field of competition and regulation law. This program is a one time opportunity to get the qualifications that you need.

Competition law is an extremely complex area of law, which can be fully comprehended only in combination with studying economic principles. The graduate program seeks to introduce you to the complex problems of competition and regulation theories, approached from both a legal and an economic perspective.

Additional skills within the legal area of competition and regulation may increase the opportunities for graduates on the job market. These skills may be of particular interest for law firms, companies (e.g. as Compliance Officers) or agencies (e.g. the Federal Network Agency or the Federal Cartel Office).

The program is offered entirely in English. It is a Distance-Learning program with only three study weeks in Lüneburg.

The Master?s Degree enhances your existing legal or business and economics qualifications by adding deeper knowledge in tax law and related disciplines, such as accounting, corporate or inheritance law. This expertise will enable you to provide consultancy services in tax return, tax optimization, and fiscal litigation at national level with confidence. This interdisciplinary course enables you to link the legal content with a business perspective, which places you in the position to provide thorough analyses and assessments of legal issues by drawing upon your economics knowledge.

An important part of the Master's Degree in Tax Law is the intensive preparation to the written and oral examination for the German Chartered Fiscal Consultants' Examination (Steuerberaterexamen), which, thanks to the perfectly planned time table, can be taken immediately after completing the Master's degree.

Sie bauen auf Ihre vorhandenen juristischen beziehungsweise wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Qualifikationen auf und erweitern diese um vertiefte Kenntnisse im Steuerrecht und den benachbarten Disziplinen wie Bilanz-, Gesellschafts- oder Erbrecht. So werden Sie befähigt, die steuerliche Deklarations-, Gestaltungs- und Konfliktberatung auf der nationalen Ebene souverän zu erfüllen.

Ein wichtiger Bestandteil ist die intensive Vorbereitung auf das schriftliche und mündliche Steuerberaterexamen. Hier wenden Sie Ihr steuerrechtliches Wissen in rund 30 Probeklausuren an, die alle Prüfungsbereiche des Examens abdecken.
