Didn't know that the spelling and grammar of the Yale staff was that bad.

And lol "We estimate that the individual student's budget for the 2009-2010 academic year will be approximately $67,240" didn't they forget the 50 cents?

My sincere congrats 2009. Yale is the best law school in USA.

Besides the two brazileans, do you know about other people from Latin America?

When I call them, they told me that most decisions will be made on mid March, so you have been "early accepted". Congrats again.

Did they deny that they have already sent out a lot of (around 15) admissions, or so called "most decisions (will be made on mid March" only means rejection?

Thx. Yes, last year it was around Mid March. But it seems the process runs a little bit earlier since according to other posts at least 15 offers have already been sent out, considering the total amount would be only 25

Because some people that are frustrated want to create anxiety on other applicants But I think that they are a very small amount of people, but they use different names (please note the amount of accounts that had been created in this last days. There are many new users, but I suspect that most of those accounts belong to a short number of people)

BTW, I ask to a friend that is a Yale student what he knows about admission process, and he told me that, altought he is not sure, he believed that only a few decisions (if any) were made until this day, and that most decisons will be released next week, but maybe at the end of March they will admitt two or three more applicants.

So don't panic and wait a couple of weeks!

They usually call you to confirm your acceptance. In the off chance that they weren't able to reach you, they would send you an email.

I know the guy from FGV who is the other candidate from Brazil you mentioned, but I haven't heard anything from him yet. Just pinged him asking about the results. Will let you know if it confirms.

ps1: he has not graduated from FGV-Rio, he is a professor there.
ps2: no, I did not applied to Yale.

Sorry for the late answer - I was busy working on my doctoral (JSD) proposal.

The other Brazilian is a researcher at FGV Rio, working with the dean, 27 years old.

He got his LL.M. at UERJ - never met him!
