The admissions are out!
The problem is making a choice between HLS and YLS.
I have problems deciding., assuming no consideration is given to financial aid or scholarship.
Actually I'm yet to get the YLS offer; but what if I do?

Naijadude, congratulations for your admission to Yale. Unfortunately, I haven´t received any news about my application yet, but I assume that I have been rejected since my understanding is that all the admitted candidates have been contacted.
Personally, I would definitely go to Yale.
Yale is the best regarded law school in the United States (and I would dare to add that is the best law scholl in the world). The program is much smaller than the one from Harvard, people are really friendly and they don't kill each other for a grade since the grading system is designed to avoid competition among students. Additionally, maybe is not so important to you, but 80% of Yale class receives some form of financial aid.
Good luck with your choice and I really hope that you enjoy your LLM at Yale, regards.

If you haven't received the offer from Yale yet, you won't get any as they seem to be out all.
So the choice won't be too difficult! Congratulations on HLS!!!

Thanx Tyler and Santa. Actually I've got the HLS offer and am excited about it. Yale simply notified me my letter is on the way and I shd get it shortly. I know it could be a rejection.
I just imagine what I might do if it turns out to be an offer.
Even if it is a rejection, I ask myself "is my HLS offer the best I could have hoped for? Or would YLS have been better"?

Sorry to tell you, but Yale's letter could only mean you are rejected, as they call by phone those admitted. However, you have Harvard! what else to say? amazing school, faculty, peers, name, working opportunities afterwards (there's no crisis for Harvard), alumni network...I was hoping to get into Harvard honestly. Enjoy your next year!

I'll update u guys on the contents of the letter from YLS as soon as I get it. Whatever it turns out to be, I'm willing to accept it. HLS is great enough.
For those still waiting, good luck!
