For the record, shockresist doesn't owe me dumplings. I take it back.

I got a confirmation email today saying that my application is complete and that decisions will be made sometime in March or April.
I really hope same time next year, I'll be attending classes in New Haven.
I hope others received it too. Good luck to us!

i haven't gotten the email yet. Should I be panicking just yet?

I felt the same way a couple of days ago, but now I feel relieved. Perhaps you should wait for a few more days. Some people from those who applied last year, from what I have heard, actually received their confirmation emails sometime January and someone received it as late as February 2.
I know the waiting can get to you. But hang on.

I didn't get the second e-mail either. They also didn't ask for the credentials from LSAC. Do you know if they do it automatically ? Seems weird that they didn't ask them for it yet.

i have only had an 'unofficial confirmation of receipt' thus far. is this what posters are speaking of? I'm not worried, as grad admissions are very helpful. I'm merely wondering.

They seek report from LSAC on their own. I recently received their last e-mail in the series confirming that my file is complete and that I should wait for the admission decision.

I received an email from Yale yesterday confirming that they had received all my documentation and that a decision will be made in March/April.

Still haven't received the second e-mail, and they didn't ask for my report from LSAC.

I also received yesterday the "complete application notification". They said that decisions could actually be reached even in April. From this statement I ascertain that they have received more applications than last year, since Yale would generally offer admission by March 10th (at least this is what I realized after a quick look at previous years fora pertaining to Yale admissions). Consequently, I recommend to those who haven't received the "complete application notification" not to worry, as this year the whole application process might proceed slower due to a presumably large number of applications. After all, you should always bear in mind that Yale states in the brochure and in the "how to apply" section of its website that you should wait until January the 15th to be notified. We've got 40 days then and I recommend that you stay calm because the whole application process has already proven to be a huge stress factor.
Good luck to everybody! Special wishes to my friend vogelfrei (it would also be my honor vogelfrei to walk the hallways of Yale with you)

Those that didn't get the second mail but applied through LSAC - did Yale request your transcript yet ?
