Yale LLM -- 2019-2020

Does it mean that if we didn't receive a call last Friday, it's rejection? :(.

bhle, no, this person is from europe :)

CKXP, I don't know if that counts one way or another... when I applied I was basically a lurker on these fora until I got the call - until then I hardly made any comments :D So, it could be true. Either way, we know for sure that calls have started going out!

Hi does anyone know if Yale makes all the calls on the same day? I know sb who already received a call. But I haven't got anything yet. Is it true that they only take one person from a country each year?

On your last question, I know two from our country who were admitted by Yale Law last year.

And we are from a third world country.

In our LLM batch there are four countries each with two nationals in the program. Previous years different countries also had more than one, so I don't think there is a hard & fast rule. :)

I am from Ghana. I have been waiting for the mysterious call but it appears it will never come. Please, can one of you help me throw more light on this. I heard Yale Law School rarely or never admit Africans. While they could take 4 persons from one continent or two from one country, they do not favourably consider Africans. Is this true?

I thought Yale only mailed their rejections? Also, how do they notify potential waitlisted candidates?

First snag in this process and my first rejection received by email :(

Came first in both of my degrees at a top Austrlian Uni with various academic awards, various publications, some teaching experience (though mostly practice - perhaps why my application was binned) and some top references...still not enough.

Just received a rejection email from Gordon. Even though my decision status remains unchanged, I will sleep it off.

Good luck to everyone.
