Me too. I always knew Yale was difficult to get into. After all, they accept only around 25. But still it hurts. It really does :(

They said they would release all decisions by Mid March. So 5 more days to go. I doubt they have anyone left to call. I think with Yale, early news is indeed the only good news. :(

yeah :( what I really wish though is that they'd just be clear with us right from the start - if we're not in, then just say it... I so dislike having to keep my hopes when they say decisions are not final bla bla bla when in all actualities its already done :_(

I agree. Which schools did you apply to and what have you heard from them so far?

Wow! i can just imagine given yale, columbia and NYU have started to release decisions. I applied to yale, Harvard and NYU. Accepted to NYU, have not heard from Yale or Harvard. I think Harvard will release their decisions in next two weeks.

Just read in another thread where someone stated that he/she received admission from Yale on Friday. Could this mean that Yale is still releasing admission decisions? This is really like a roller coaster because this new information has caused me to have my hopes up that there is a chance that Yale may still call!

I need my rejection email.

They told us that they were going to send them by mid March, right? So where is it? Okay, I got the point, I waited enough now I need my rejection :D

No email, just a nicely worded letter. I think they seem like they give out decisions in a more personal way than just emails, which is nice I guess (although a bit slow!!) I'm in the UK, so I guess it took a while to get here. I hope not too many people also receive rejections, but at least we'll know where we stand.

There is no need to be too personal with hundreds of applicants :) it takes time... did they send it via courrier, UPS/DHL or something similar at least? In that case, it would take only 2-3 days to reach Europe, otherwise, up to two weeks or maybe even more? :(
