Nope. The deed is done. I think they've notified all applicants. I'd be very surprised if they hadn't.

What do you mean? Did you get an admission mail without a previous phone call from Yale?

Did you get a phone call! ??

Good Luck !!!
All decisions were made last week by phone call. There is a secure Facebook group for admitted LL.M.'s. No one was sent an email, Yale calls all admits.

Got my letter yesterday that I was rejected. I am so disappointed.

@ canada40,
I am sorry for that. May I request you to just paraphrase the content of the letter in a post here...
Thanks. Have you heard from any where else...?

... I regret to inform you that the Graduate Committee is unable to offer you admission to the graduate program leading to the Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Yale Law School. Our program is very small and the Committee must make difficult choices among a large number of highly accomplished and interesting applicant.
I just cannot believe that I was denied admission at Yale. I have been offered admission at Notre.Dame and Oxford (and other Law School in the nation). But I guess that I am not good enough for YALE. This is their lost not to have me on their LL.M. program, really.

You are through Oxford..:)? Amazing!!...I recognise your disappointment canada40, but oxford's resources are comparable to Yale. So, from your perspective, all is well...
All the best for Oxford...

But Yale Law is Yale Law. Nothing compares to Yale Law School. Nothing.

I agree with you. Nothing is comparable with Yale. The program in Yale is much more elitist than every other LL.M. program. The program is very small, you can choose courses out of a wide range of lectures and mentoring is very good, too. Only 25 offers were made (Oxford makes about 250). I think it is a little bit presumptuous if one thinks Yale needs a special student. Moreover, all admitted students have excellent credentials. But of course, you also must be very lucky to get a place, because I do not think that there were only 25 excellent applications.

@ all,
Doubtless. Yale is a premier institution. My point was: in terms of interpresonal mentoring that Yale is perhaps the strongest in given the small student to faculty ratio, Oxford is comparable. And given that Yale is no longer an option for our friend canada40 here, my point was that he should be glad that he got in (arguably) the best institution across the pond.

That's right, L&E, I just don't like it that a person thinks he/she is not exchangeable. In cetero, Oxford is much cheaper than Yale.

Is it unusual that I still get no answer from Yale?
