Hi people out there,

I need some help: I`m really interested in doing an LL.M. program, especially in the U.S., although I wonder if an LL.M. really might be helpful to me in the future. This is because I'm still indecisive aubout my career goals.
Alternative one would be to work as a lawyer in the media & entertainment sector, preferrably in the music business, since I've been a musician myself for almost 20 years now: in this case I would go for an Intellectual Property LL.M.

Alternative two would be to work with the government in my home country, e.g. the ministry of foreign relations, since I`m good at several languages and have lived abroad for several longer periods in my life until now. If a LL.M. would be useful in that case at all, I`d rather go for a LL.M. in Human Rights or International Law.

The problem is: Right now, I really don`t know which route/alternative I should choose. Do you recommend to do a (general) LL.M. nevertheless, so it could be useful in any of the alternatives?? I will graduate next year, so if choose to do an LL.M. in 2007-08 it would be about time now to do the TOEFL, apply at Law Schools, look for scholarships etc...

Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions!
