Which law school to choose??

Hi, eveyone! I was wandering about which law school to choose. Actually, I thought I had already chosen (NYU, GWU, SMU and USD). I want to get an LLM in Environmental Law, but I heard from many schools that international applicants hardly have a chance when applying to a program other than LLM in comparative legal studies or equivalent.
GWU is the only one with a LLM in International Env Law. The other 3 have General LLM which I can be focused on Env Law. So, are those good schools with real chances to accept me? Or is it true that international applicants should apply only for the comparative program?

Thank you for your help.

What are your goals? Are you returning to your home country after graduation? If so, just study what you want and attend the law school where you want to live for a year. Are you planning on trying to remain in the US and take a US bar examination? If so, studying US law might be a better option.

Thank you for you replies.

Actually, I don't know if I'll return to my country. I want to study environmental Law, but in Brazil there aren't too many options. I guess it depends on the opportunities. If in the US the chances for getting a job as an env lawyer are better than here in Brazil, then I'll take the BAR in NY or CA and try to get a job there.
If I get back to Brazil I'll have to take the BAR, because I'll start my senior year in law school and if I get accepted by any of these schools, I won't be able to take the BAR next year because it happens on mid september, and by that date I'll have to be in the US for class.

I agree with Pharrell's ranking except for SMU, that is in Dallas and if you are going to look into programs with a concentration then you should look into AU as well they offer a specialization in Environmental Law and have a famous Summer Academy in Environmental Law and you would be in Washington where you have the opportunity of getting good internships. AU has full scholarships as well. Good luck!
