I have gotten replies and acceptances back from all my schools except for USD. They are the lowest ranked out of all of them so what could possibly be taking them so long? Probably a lack of work ethic down there.
What is the deal with USD

USD was the first school I heard from out of all I applied to... so I don't think your personal experience is representative of USD as a whole.
That being said, you should call them and ask what's taking so long. I've found the USD staff to be very helpful in answering questions... probably far more helpful than a slightly bitter post here.
Good luck.

Frusterated not really bitter...bitter comes if they deny me lol.
But thank you for your advice. Is that where you're going?

I'm leaning that way now, but I've still got apps pending at NYU and UF... so I'll have to make a final decision once I hear something from those schools.

Hey bdc,
Drop them an email or call them (I like email, myself, because it feels less intrusive...that way if they need to hunt down your materials to figure out what's going on they can do that and get back to you with answers)
We've talked before...I did my jd and took heaps of tax classes there, and its a very small, personal school. The graduate tax department admin folks are very friendly and would probably be able to get back with you quickly.
How long has your app been complete again? And did they email you to let you know it WAS complete? Once they have everything you should have gotten an email informing you of that and letting you know they would have a decision w/in a couple weeks.
If you have received NO correspondence (email/otherwise) from them, and you submitted your materials more than a couple weeks ago, I'd be concerned that it got lost in the mail or something. They are, in my experience, pretty on the ball.
Let me know how you go...looks like I'll be there in the fall (commuting, but I'll be there!) so hopefully we can high-5 or something.
:-)

Hey Peasefrog,
Yeah I got the email that I was complete, they have been pretty good everytime they received anything they sent me an email. I have been complete for about 3 weeks and my other two schools have accepted me already.
I called them but the regular person was gone and the one I talked to had no clue but would try to find out. I guess Ill try back on Monday.
Can you tell me more about the program since you are kinda like an insider? Also, what was the seat deposit?
Thanks, right now Im chosing Miami, I want be an estate planner more than a tax attorney.
