May be true but I don't think that must necessarily be the case. It would not be unusual for HLS to simply say that they evaluate candidates as they are at the time of their application. When I asked UChicago if they needed my class rank letter that my university had forgotten to include with my transcripts, they said they didn't - I got in nontheless.

My recommendation status page in embark was updated so it looks like they are still working.

I think my recommendations status changed from "Submitted" to "Received" today too. They must be finally reviewing our files!!!

I don't know if I'm being delusional but I checked the embark system a few minutes ago and it appears to me that they've inserted the harvard law school icon (the shield with the three bits of brocolli) on each of the pages - something that to my mind was not present before. Perhaps the entire system is being updated

I'm looking at Embark too and it seems to have changed colour?! But I think there was a logo there before, just it was red...

Thinking back I don't think the logo was there, because I check Embark at work and am wary of leaving the screen saying 'Harvard Law School' in massive letters open for all to see, I don't actually recall the logo. It also looks more purply than it did before, but perhaps it's the computer I'm using or maybe just my addled imagination. What am I doing even talking about this?! If I didn't know torts better I'd be tempted to suggest an action for psychological harm ;)

Personally, I think the logo has always been there. It looks so familiar to me as to not appear new. I cannot perceive any changes to the site, but I may be incorrect.
