but you should have at least an idea of what you would like to focus on. Most of the times, US schools ask you to list courses you want to take in your personal statement or directly on the application form. That said, it also depends where do you plan to work after your LLM is over. If you're looking for make money, perhaps you could focus on corporate law. Yale is of course the first choice. I have already applied there.

perhaps the first one could be Columbia, but you cannot be wrong if you pick Yale...Yale should be the first for contract and international private law, at least in the "IVY league".
