My name is Mike Pendergast and I have an LLM degree from a Maryland University and a civil law degree from a foreign country.

Can I sit for the Virginia bar? I heard somewhere that a letter from the Dean of my law school in Maryland stating equivalence of studies would suffice, but after reading the requirements it seems that it would have to be from a Virginia law school. Does anyone know about this?

I know it indeed works for a letter from UVA Law. I do not think it will work for Maryland Law.
