USA LLM

minie911

Hi!
I'm Minie from India and I'm currently in the fourth yr of Law Graduation from the Mumbai University (5yr Law course). I would like to take up an LLM program from USA but I have some queries:
1. Which are top ranking Universities with regards to Law? I'm particularly interested in Intellectual Property or ADR. Does the Ivy League have any weightage here?

2. Besides TOEFFEL and LSAT do I have to qualify in any other tests?

3. With an LLB degree from India and LLM from US, would I be eligible to work in the US?

Thanks.

You questions have been covered by so many threads but her i have some quick feedback:

1. make a keyword search in this forum using Law Schools ranking 2008 and / or IP and ADR in US LLM;
2. For LLM you don't need LSAT score. For TOEFL, most of the law schools requires a good score but if you came from a English teaching institution, you may ask for exemption;
3. working and academic qualifications are two different things in US, I'm afraid we don't have a solid solution here.

In my opinion, you should do more research using his forum and of course other channels, but many of us i believe, give very useful advices and information here.
