Hi! Do you know if UPenn is only sending emails to those who have been granted with the scholarship or they are also informing to the applicants that they will not receive financial aid?

@ Luciana: No, unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question. In my case, i was offered a specific award, so it might be that not all the scholarship offers were released at the same time ?

May I ask what specific scholarship you were awarded? Also congratulations! :)

I received an e-mail that all scholarahip decisions are made for the first round and that second one will be after april 1, if they have any resources left (reading: if a scholarship recepient decides not to enroll).
Very sorry to say that but I will probabley not be going to UPenn.

No, just a regular e-mail after the one from next week announcing that they will be sending out scholarship offers soon.

Did anyone else recieve this email? I haven't heard anything..whether I've got one or the email saying all 1st decisions are made..
Posted Mar 07, 2017 15:51
And has anyone asked if all decisions have been released?

UPenn is only sending emails to those who have been granted with the scholarships (last week). I just receive a response to an email regarding this matter: "We have completed the first round of scholarship offers. We will make further offers, if funds remain, after April 1. We recognize that financing an LLM in the US is a significant challenge and that the uncertainty of scholarship funding presents still more challenge."
Congrats for those who received the financial aid!

Hey guys, how did you receive your hard copy of enrollment documents?
I'm having problems with the shipping services provider (eshippingglobal) which claims that it has delivered the package to me last week, but I did not receive such package, I was not even home that day. They claim that I received it personally!
The carrier is not responsive, and I sent a mail to UPenn which also does not respond.
I am not very happy since i) I would really like to have the admission package and ii) the fact that UPenn works with a carrier that considers it OK to forge the delivery notification does not make me feel very secure.
Any similar experiences?

Just to let you know: I received my Financial Aid Decision some minutes ago.
Hi FAD,
I don't know if you mind answering but I noticed you have been accepted in a lot of the same school chains I'm in and presumably more.
Did you happen to apply for specific scholarships in most of the schools or were they standard awards that everyone is considered for?

Hi all!
I am trying to make a choice between several schools. One of the factors that made me seriously consider UPenn was the Wharton Business and Law certificate.
But in thinking about it I am not sure how much value it adds to my degree and / or CV. Does anyone know whether it's actually useful for future employment / highly regarded , or rather just a waste of another 13K (without even getting a Wharton alum status, which they are very militant about on the website)?
Thanks so much for the help!!

Has anyone requested an expedited decision from UPenn?
Posted Mar 22, 2017 03:39
I thinks there is no further actions for all waited applicants including expediting the decision. Just patiently wait until the early of April when some of those waitlisited may get an admission to UPenn.
I heard last yr the last waitlisited got an admission in June.

Declined my admission offer just now. So, someone should hear from UPenn...

I was wondering if there is anyone here with a scholarship offer planning to decline his/her offer? Also, if there are people that already decided to enroll in UPenn?

Has anybody on the waitlist heard from UPenn yet? The waiting is agonising.

Last yr, the process of offering a place for the waitlisted started in the early of Apri until May.
Best wishes!
