Anyone else admitted?

Nothing here so far. Did you guays receive your acceptance mails during the afternoon local US time?

Nothing yet...It is almost 6 PM their time...

I spoke with their admissions office around 4.30 PM (EST) and they said we should hear before midnight today for sure, and most likely in the next couple of hours.

It's Thursday morning here in Japan now.
It's so stressful.　I am checking my email every five minutes.

I received Penn Law's email just a few minutes ago, stating that "In some number of instances, however, the Committee could not definitively evaluate a candidate's qualifications outside of the context of the general applicant pool. Your application was included in this group." :'(

Just got my acceptance by email.

lanriver - don't think about it, you are still alive in the process, which is important.

I have just received the good news from Penn: admitted!!!

Just one comment: I infer from their e-mail that it seems they had many more (qualified) applications than in the previous years and, therefore, the process was much more competitive.

Admitted too.....Another question, some of you were also admitted by Georgetown, how will you make your decisions?

very regrettable I have to wait for another 30 day period within which they say would anticipate contacting me again...maybe the worst case of prolonging tedious waiting period~~

They are suggesting, "Please feel free to contact the Committee, at gradadmissions@law.upenn.edu, to provide any information that you feel might advance your candidacy." What does this mean? Are they encouraging to submit more information or documents to further convince them of my qualification?

The next sentence is pretty ridiculous..."You may also write to the same address if wish to withdraw your name from consideration." Are they really expecting one? --;

I am in the same boat as you...but since I have been admitted to GW and I want to speciliaze in IP laws, I am not sure, if I would pursue it further with Upenn. I don't think i can send them any further documents, to support my application. I had sent them everything before!

Anyways good luck , I am sure there are quiet a few ppl like us.
