Me too I am leaving my seat at USC to someone else this week. I have been admitted to Upenn, UCLA and Georgetown. So far, UCLA is my pick. I am still waiting for Harvard this week. Goodluck at USC. Cheers.

SCLLM - A word of advice. Do not give up. If you were rejected, like I was at Duke, you would have received a rejection letter. You did not receive one. Each admission committee has its ways to work. Sometime the issue acceptance letters by countries, sometimes by specialty. Having said that, wait and see. I am telling you, positive outcome may await you. Chin up and all the best to you.

I think I'll leave my seat at USC to someone in the waiting list this week ;)
What school will you be going to Aky?

I think Cornell
(or Stanford if I get an offer of admission)

What school did you get accepted to?
Will you change your mind if you get a positive answer from UCLA?
I still hold UIUC, UW-Madison. If UCLA give me the admission, I think I will go.

I just called the UCLA LLM admissions office..
They said that the applications are being considered in batches..
and they still maintain that they will be sending notifications through April.. so one must have patience with them...
therefore, all of us who have not yet heard, just got to wait i guess!

Has anyone from India gotten any sort of response yet? I'm beginning to get worried
Posted Mar 24, 2011 19:30
I'm from India, nd I have heard absolutely nothing from them. Are all decisions over?
Posted Mar 24, 2011 22:11
aahna mentioned that UCLA reviews the applications in batches....you have not heard anything...then....it makes sense.....as far as I understand..it is not over.......you may hear from them......

They don't seem to be picking their phones! I've been trying for over three days! Sigh...
Posted Mar 25, 2011 18:41
I'm from India and my app went complete sometime in late jan...though I haven't heard anything from them yet, if they ARE evaluating the applications in batches I guess there's still hope...we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed and sit tight for a while...

One question for the addmited students...maybe it could be useful for all of us......(or maybe it has been already answered...).....do you have time to confirm your enrollment until April or May? .....my question is because....I assume...depending on the confirmations in April....they will send new offers on April...to be accepted in May...those who do not accept in May will open space for new offers and it will continue until June.....am I right?

I was waitlisted on March 16th. :/ UCLA was my favourite program so I was a bit sad although I did not intend to enrol ever since they rejected my partner. Hence I did not send them the letter of continued interest. My precious wait-list seat is up for grabs. ;) Btw. I found the wait-list mail kind of snotty... I've certainly read nicer phrased letters.
Best of luck to my ex-fellow waitlists.

so has anyone actually been rejected yet then?
Posted Mar 31, 2011 23:09
Alright, since the wait seems to continue I have a question to ask.
When we apply for the LLM Program at UCLA we specify if want a certificate in any of the three specialized degrees they present. If we are granted the admission is it in the area we specified or do we specify it after we are admitted?

Just declined my offer from UCLA... going to attend USC next year... good luck for the waitlisted ones and hope all the best to all! ;)

I think you have the option of changing the specialization you specified in the application process.
Good luck to all of you who are still waiting!

Does anyone receive any message from UCLA?
It seems that no new admission or waitlist is offered sice the mid of March...
Could anyone share any new information about UCLA adimission? Thank you all very much!
