UCLA USC Admissions

I received nothing either.

I received nothing either.

It has been April.
I am wondering if there is still any hope.
Generally, alomost every school makes all its admission decissions during March, right?
UCLA just provides no further message since March 15&16.
It's really so strange...

Sorry for hearing this, lawtw.
So, UCLA did send some messages in last week, right?

I am afraid that its class is already full, so all the rest will simply get rejection in the next few days....

Hi...I do not think so...I already have my mind in other projects but I still think it is possible to receive an admission letter...in fact there were some people who did not accept UCLA offer or did not respond..it opened some vacancies and some people in the waiting list may be contacted in the next days...that is what they have told to some of us...how many will be contacted? 2 or 5 or 20? no idea...it depends on the number of people who did not accept the offer..and also..as far as I have read from other posts...it depends on the part of the world those guys may come from.....

I never received an e-mail. In fact, I directly received the acceptance letter by mail (normal mail) on March 21 or 22. Accordingly, there is still a hope for those that are are still waiting.

Hi freepuertorico,
I think maybe you are right, but only for those who are already in waitlist...
People like me who never receive any information from UCLA in March really feel so hopeless....

Does anyone receive acceptance notification after March 15&16 ?

Hi Sottomarina:
May I ask you where are you from?
I just heard that many Asian students still receive nothing from UCLA. Is that truth?
Can any Asian student share your information? no matter acceptance or waitlist or still nothing. Thanks a lot.

I am from India, and I have not yet heard anything. I do not know of any Indian student who has heard from them yet.

So I just called up the admissions office and they said all decisions aren't out yet, about 1/3rd are left to go and they are working at them but the number of applicants is way to high hence a few more weeks until all go out.

So I guess I have to wait with fingers crossed!

Does anyone have more insight into how the wait-list is dealt with at UCLA?

Do you think we're really not going to know anything until late May-June?

Deal all:
I am on the waiting list too, and I just sent my waiting list intention email.
Honestly, it is really a so long period to wait the final decision until June...
Could anyone share the past information about UCLA waiting list? Is it really need to wait that long?
Thank you all. Wish everyone all the best.

Dear scllm:
It is really comfort to hear what you say.
Sorry for saying this, but is it true that UCLA waitlists will almost come through? You mean many admitted students will just decline the offer, right?

Just to give you an idea: the deadline to accept the offer for those initially admitted is April 15. The praxis of some law schools appears to be to admit slightly more students than their program intends to enroll as a certain number is likely to withdraw or decline anyway. But even if this is the case, I don't think you'll have to wait until June...

Good luck everyone and hope to see you in the fall!

Hi Spikee. Thank you for sharing your idea.
It is just so anxious to wait their final decision for such a long time. I do hope more friends could share their information here, whether you have accepted/declined the admission offer, refused to remain on the wait list, or even got admission from the wait list. People, who are on the wait list of UCLA and eager to get in, would truly appreciate your kind information. Thanks!

Thought I posted it, but I guess did not. Anyway if this can help, I did accept my offer.

I wish you all the best! Believe in it, I am sure you will get accepted.
