Hi all,

I am in my final year of an LLB degree at King's College London. I got a 64% (2.1) in my first year and 61% (2.1.) in my 2nd year and I applied to Cornell, UCLA and University of Pennsylvania. I have just 3 months work experience. Am also black, us universities are big on diversity. Do I stand a chance of getting into any of the three schools?

Got my rejection email this evening. Total bummer.

On a slightly positive note I got into Southwestern, which has just about the same program for entertainment law. Still stings though, I thought I had a pretty competitive application. Oh well.

I guess the wait just started... I am little bummed but also happy to not be rejected right away.

Same as above! Does anyone know the chances for wait listed students? Or any figures? e.g. 20 out of 100 or...?

After reading lots of post it seems to be about 20% with a better chance if they contact you early on in the process.

OMG ! I just go accepted :) What will you do if you were accepted in the University of Minnesota too (with a 28.000$ scholarship !) ?

Admitted! Got the same problem. I really want to go but got offered a significant scholarship from another uni in LA. Any idea when they are going to send out the decision regarding financial aid?
