I wish to know if UCLA awards need-based and merit scholarships, and how much does it usually give away?

It's merit scholarships. I saw it from their application materials. I also want to know how much is it?

what kind of email are u speaking about? I received only an automatic reply at the time of the electronic submission. Should I worry about that?

I also just receive automatic reply at the time of the electronic submission. But when I ask the admission office some days ago, they just repy "your file is complete", nothing alse adding. So, I think what we need to do now is waiting. However, I just heard one of you receive the admission, and no one else has the same situation. Strange!

This program is my first choice but USC start to pressuring me a little bit for an answer (I already passed the deadline).

I just ask the UCLA the status, and they reply me three complete letters.

For those interested, I just received an answer from the Admission Office stating that decisions will be sent in april or may. Not very practical to cope with other choices.

According to the UCLA's Website,,, "Applicants to the 2006-2007 LL.M. Program will be notified of the Graduate Studies Committee's decision by email and postal mail in March or April of 2006".

The term of the notification has changed!
