Your raise a good point. I haven't gotten any news yet but I am curious as to what their acceptance standards are. What would be the average GPA and test scores they are looking for?

Some of my friends were admitted even though their Toefl score was around 95. I think English score is not important.

Do you know what sort of GPA/ class rank they would looking for?

Hi legal_eagle20
Just for your information: My Toefl is over 100 (which has exceeded the minimum requirement specified on UCLA official website) with GPA rated AA and years of legal work experiences. Still felt confused even though the rejection is about 1 week ago...

Is it possible they reject on the basis of how close you apply to the specified deadline? Also it could be that since most of these schools are rolling admissions, they must have filled their seat capacity. I don't know, frankly but it would be nice to have such information while going through the application process in order to make a more informed decision.

Hello guys, I have been admitted to UCLA and USC, but UCLA hasn`t offered any scholarships while USC has (I can´t disclose the amount). Do you think there is room for me to negotiate with UCLA or is it just impossible to get scholarship at this point?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

You should definitely try to negotiate with UCLA. There's no harm in asking and you'll regret if you at least don't ask. So send them an email and see what they say.

Is anyone who got accepted and a scholarship NOT going? I was accepted without a scholarship, so...you can figure out why I would care.

I just declined my offer of admission with a 20k scholarship. Enrolling in UPenn, good luck!
