@oldmanLLMstudent, thanks for you answer. I think Ill accept UCLAs offer because it's a great school and they offered me a better deal. Im choosing between UCLA and USC, and UCLA was my first choice. Did not think that I would get accepted. So very happy about that.

Ive decided to create a Facebook group for those of us who will accept UCLAs offer. We could help each other out with different questions.

The facebookgroup is

I got in too! But still waiting for other schools to reply on admission and financial aid so I can decide where and if I'll go. Congrats to everyone!

Hey,

Congratulations on getting in!

I received my acceptance email from UCLA a few days ago! I'm a UK student currently finishing off my UK law degree but I was curious to know, when do you hear about scholarship decisions?? As the US fees are somewhat higher (A LOT) higher than what I'm used to here in the UK and I'll struggle to get loans because I am an international student! Does anyone know if they give out full scholarships?

UCLA was my first choice as I've always wanted to study there but I'm just nervous the financial aspect of it will stand in the way of that.

Thanks for your help!

Hello Sophie,

Just to let you know, I received the scholarship email 10 minutes after the acceptance email !

And I believe there are no full scholarships at UCLA

Anyway, congrats on getting in :)

I was admitted on Friday :) I am so excited!! I have a question for the ones who have been admitted to various universities. What are you going to do in order to decline the other offers of admission and scholarships? do you think that not paying the deposit is enough or we need to send an email or make a call? Thank you guys and congratulations!!!

Send an email. It's common courtesy. Furthermore, If you choose just not to make the deposit, you are delaying other applicants' offers of admission, which is selfish and even rude.

When can one start to apply for the visa? I read somewhere that you can only start the visa process 120 days before the semester starts. Does anybody else have different information?

I got admitted to UCLA as well, very excited about that. Any advice on which school to decide upon. Do you decide after your scholarship awards or ranking?

Can I ask you when you applied and how long they took to give you an admissions decision.

I wouldn't go so far to say as you should assume you were rejected. Maybe you are in the second batch and the school is waiting to see who commits.

Did you apply to any other schools in California?
