@atticus : Congrats for the usf! when did you apply? I have heard good things about the ip program too, hence the application. My application was completed on january the 11th, I think... should I be worried that I haven't heard from them yet? Are you thinking of going? (obviously you'd like to know all of your options before deciding, so let's just say I never asked!) :)
@trout face : my thoughts on ucla? I am a California fan, therefore I will not say more. Ok, I will! I LOVE California, practically lived there for give or take a year with a few breaks. L.A is not my favorite city, but there is so much you can do there. So I would say I am a west coast person... As for the women, I don't really count on finding one there... Not that they are not pretty, sexy etc. It's just me : I'm a girl (straight :) ). I guess I should start thinking of changing my username to something more feminine, since I have been getting the "dude" thing a lot! lol! But to answer your question, yes, women are beautiful, especially as it gets sunnier and warmer! It is always sunny, the cities are amazing, you've got everything close, Vegas, San Francisco, Napa, road trip highway 1 etc.
Let's hope we all get accepted to our first (or at least top) choices!

@trout_face : I guess Berkeley, Stanford and Cornell would be a priority... : ) on a more realistic note, taking into consideration that I prefer California, UCLA is a strong wish, although it does not have the specialization I wanted. But then again, that could be a good thing, maybe a specialized LL.M is a commitment that I am not ready to make! lol Seriously now, I don't really know how they rank UCLA in comparison to other schools that I have applied to, but there is a good chance for me to be a bit biased when it comes to choosing among all of the schools that have accepted me (how optimistic of me!), since I practically know my way around California and I already know it is going to be fun as well! :) How about you? Which is your dream school? Which is the "safety net" one?

its still quite early chicago time but now im thinking maybe tomorrow's the day? oh well im sure i wouldnt even be in the first wave of decisions since i received my application complete email late in december but its just "nice" to add to the anxiety by speculating about when the decisions would be released hehe.

R Badger's previous emails were sent after 2:00 pm Chicago time. So I guess it's possible first responses will be released today still. The wait is killing me!!
