anyone off to hastings this fall?

I have been admitted to Hastings. I learned that San Fransisco best law school is Hastings. Besides that, San Fransisco is a really wonderful place to live.
I also got admitted to Fordham in New York. But somehow i prefer to live in San Fransisco rather than New York.

Yes, I did but i also got through USC so i prefer the latter.

I don't think that everybody is looking only for rankings. If somebody wants to live and study in SF than Hastings is a great choice. 20+miles from SF is not SF. Especially Stanford. SFO area is not SF in terms of cultural experience of everyday life. So I think that people who initiated this thread are not here to read about Stanford and Berkeley in every thread. Every person has its own goals and priorities, not everybody is a glory hunter. Job perspectives suck after all llm programs anyway.

Guys, the point of LLM guide is to have open ended discussions. I don't see the reason why people here are getting offended. Further, you guys are not the only viewers, certain comments may help dormant members in making their decision. Its not about "ME" here its about "US", Future LL.M. Students.

Hi guys, I'm considering about applying for the llm program for fall 2013. For those of you who are currently enrolled in this program, how was your gpa? I'm now at 2.8... will probably get around 3.1 upon graduation. Do you think this is good enough for a place at hastings? Given my current gpa, what other choices do I have left if I want to do my llm at a better reputation law school?

Hastings is considered the best law school in the city of SF not SFO. Probably because its the only T1 in the city. People go to Hastings for proximity to major employment/internship prospects. Just to inform people who are unaware, SFO is an airport not the region. The poster meant, SF [bay area].
