congrats mkoeckiv! However, I have also paid a deposit at another school, therefore I think I will let go of my acceptance. Good luck to you!

I also got accepted with a 25K scholarship. I got accepted to Fordham as well (no financial aid however). And now I don't really know what to do. The problem is that I'm really interested in the Tulane Admiralty program but I'd like to work at least for a while in NYC after the llm..
..suggestions??

I suggest that you choose the school which program suits you best. I you are interested in admiralty than choose Tulane, however if Fordham provides a course that interests you more then go to Fordham. also, a scholarship is very helpful and very catchy to put on your resume. Good luck!

Also do some research on maritime law firms in NYC - I met a guy once who worked in a NY maritime law firm after the LLM in Tulane so it must be possible.

I'd choose Tulane for the program but Fordham gives better possibilities to work in NYC afterwards, or at least to pass the NY bar exam or do you think that also a course as for ex BarBri could be useful to pass the bar?
Gosh, I am so confused. It's a big decision to take...

This was Richards Butler - they have since been absorbed by Reed Smith.

I don't know much about New York Law firms - just names, but not their recruitment practices, so I suggest you go to legal500 or a similar site to find out which firms practice maritime law and apply to them all once you have started your course. Because of Rule B attachments there should be quite a few in NY.
