I am facing a tel interview from boston univ. what can I expect? help from anyone who has faced tel interview will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, did you see the other letter re Tel interview?
Any way - I have one in few days.
I applied for the LLM in Taxation and my interviewer will be the dean of the tax program. Mr. Hadad.
I also have a meeting with a tax professor affiliated with BU. He lives in my home country and we will meet. He called and said he wanted to talk to me to let me know about the program and answer any question I may have regarding the program. So in fact I am facing 2 interviews... one face-2-face and one on the phone...

My interview is on 3rd march. Congrats on ur acceptance. I applied to the American Law Program. If accepted I dunno whether I will be goin or not. Still have to think abt that.
what did they ask u?

Nothing really. the thing was that the day before the interview I had a visit from one of their roffessors. In that meeting I asked every thing and he asked me few things like what I do (he came to see me in the law firm I work at) and why I want to go to the LLM. He told me a great deal about the university and the courses etc. We talked for an hour and laughed. He was very nice.
The day after at my telephone interview - that was short. The interviewer said they only interview those they are interested in (so if you have an interview it meens you have good chances of admission) and he asked if I want to ask any thing so I said I dont as I met with thier professor the day before and already asked every thing.. So our call wasvery short and he said my application was atractive for thema nd that they will offer me a place. That was it. He was very nice and easy to talk to.

wat did u ask them? anythin about scholarships or grants or any sort of waiver??

They said that the scholars are given on both a merit and need basis and that ll the information is online.

All the best for your interview Ta. But dont worry. The whole LLM thing is a moneymaking racket for the univs and they have been sending recruiters all over the place to recruit. They need you more(for your bucks), than you need them.
