I called them on friday. They have told me that I have to wait until the end of April. I know It does not make any sense. But that is What they said. I have applied to SPILS and IELBP. May be that is why we have to wait. They may have not considered the second applicatons.

End of April?? Did they explain why? We have to make deposits at basically every other school before then, surely they must know this.
I haven't even heard back from SPILS :(
I think I'm just going to assume it's a no, doesn't really make sense to me otherwise.

Have you applied to any other program?
They did not explain the reason.

I checked the online status tracker, and it says "A decision letter has been sent." However, there was no other info available; neither did I receive any email. I assume it's a rejection since successful and waitlisted applicants were notified by email. I guess the result is fine, as I've already decided to take up another offer, but it's frustrating that they don't even make an attempt to promptly notify unsuccessful applicants who equally deserve to know the decision.

May be it was a technical error. I got a notification of the rejection by email.

I think @Many75 had a similar experience. But I've contacted the admissions office to clarify.

I wonder if anyone has info from previous years, if anyone was actually accepted this late in the game?
Posted Apr 04, 2017 16:19
Last year, people received rejection and waitlist decision on April 19/20!

I didn't see a post like that unfortunately :(

FYI - I spoke with the office of admissions, according to whom they haven't rendered final decisions for applicants who applied both to SPILS and LLM programs, nor did they even have an estimate of when to expect these decisions, but they promised to let me know when they do have an expected date...

I'm curious to know why SLS has been considering our applications slowly even if the deadline of application submission came earlier than other top law schools.
