Hi guys, I have been waitlisted for the IELBP program. Quite frustrating now, does anyone know about the chance of getting out of the waitlist?
Thanks in advance for all the answers!

I'm also waiting, although I'm not too optimistic about it.

I just received a call today.
was it a local number that called you?
Yes, it was a local number. Now I got an email informing me of an offer, literally within 8 hours after the call.
Best of luck to everyone still awaiting the decision.

Is it worth it to email the admissions office to enquire the status of the IELBP application? I was considering as other deposit deadlines are approaching. Although I am conflicted given that I’m unsure of how many decisions they’ve given out yet and whether it makes sense to be more patient

What I'm about to say is nothing but an informed guess lol. But I think that the delay in Stanford results in comparison with other schools, together with the pandmic issues and the lack of funding may indicate that waitilisted applicants might have higher chances of getting in! Don't hold on to this though, because it is just my gut feeling...
Also, since I'm still waiting for IELBP, did you get a call informing that you were waitlisted or just an email?

Hey everyone I just got a rejection email for the LL.M. Program in International Economic Law, Business & Policy at Stanford. I hope this information helps.
Best of luck in your LLMs and congratulations to everyone going to Stanford.

While Stanford is not my priority school but nevertheless I must highlight the lack of professionalism and student-centric approach by Stanford LLM Adcom. With a class size in double-digit, I cannot possibly understand what restricts them in effectively communicating decisions to the applicants. Other schools, (Berk, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard) with a larger intake have such a robust admissions process. If applicants(accepted or rejected) are given such hostile treatment by the Adcom, I am not sure if Stanford LLM is the right place. There's only so much the name and brand can do. The attitude of releasing decisions much after deposit deadlines of other colleges reeks of elitism and indicates a lack of care towards an applicants' time, energy, and finances. As the third/fourth best Law School, it can't behave as an arrogant first.

I got waitlisted from SPILS. For those admitted can you share the deadline provided by SLS for you to accept the offer? Just trying to figure out the tentative date of action on the waitlisted applicants. If you are selecting another school, sharing that information will also help to ease my mind..
