I've been building up my list for applying to LLM next year. I'm counting on your comments to help me assess.
Some info about me:
-Central American law school attended
-GPA 2.88 (might reach 2.9)/3.00 (this makes me 5% I think)
-Dean's List every year
-Research thesis
-Certificate program (also recieved a scholarship to attend)
-2 years (3 by the time I apply) as judicial clerk with a judge (in criminal justice system)
-also worked as teacher on the weekends to young people on human rights and civil liberties
-lots of social service, including leadership positions in non profit organizations
-can get LOR from thesis director, director/dean from law school
- Perfect English skills (I'm bilingual at home)
I'd like to apply to some Top 14 schools and a few top 25 or so (for safety). But, in the long run would like to stay in US as in house counsel or so, work at an NGO in policy related to my interests or maybe even academia.
Is this good enough to apply to those schools? If not, I still have 6 months or so to build up a little more my CV. Suggestions??
THANK YOU SO MUCHHH!! :)
Ready or not?
