Hi all,
Was hoping to get an answer on a question that has been frustrating me over the course of this entire week. Many schools require sealed transcripts or the like for the LLM Application. I understand that most schools allow you to apply for it and to obtain it and to send it with your application, so long as it is sealed (and for some schools signed).
My school only seals the envelop with the university seal and will only address the transcript to me (rather than the university I am applying for) unless I apply for the school to send it to the LLM institution by itself.
My question is this:
(a) Can I just apply for a transcript and leave it sealed and just send it in by myself as opposed to necessiating the school to send it to the institution itself?
(b) Do schools only accept transcripts addressed to them?
Thanks.
Jen

I can only tell you from the law schools I will apply to, and they all allow option (a). If I were you, I would take a look at the application instructions of the law schools you want to apply to and if they do not offer option (a) in their requirements, why not just sent them an e-mail asking them to make an exception? They will probably respond within a day or a few days.
Good luck!
