I am an alumi of CK. I would say that life in Chicago and at Chicago Kent is excellent You will love them, people, city and your law school. In the early morning, jogging along the Michigan lake. Late in the morning, walking to school with your friends or take a bus or subway conveniently. Enjoy the class together with your class mates from all over the world. Anyway, don't bring so many clothes, you will enjoy shopping at Michigan Ave but I reccomend Gernie's Mill Outlet where everything is much cheaper than in the City of Chicago.

Hey, thanks for the reply. thats was so helpful. I cant wait to join. did you have friends who worked while studying thr? i would like to know whether students can get part time jobs while studying? this can be at the university or outside and manage well.

If one can get a part time job, how much could it be paying whether at university or outside. and where do i need to look to get one ( online websites)

And also, how is the rent, par month, where would you recommend one to stay, (a place with a reasonable rent).

As I know, if you are a full time student in a one year program, you can work to earn salary. Renting is depend on location. Downtown may be around $1,000 a room with water, gas and electric. The President tower is very convenient as it is a block from your law school but I prefer Canterbury Court a bit farrer but very close to the lake. If you need any more help please write me priangkruar@kentlaw.edu or pongpat@lawyer.com/, I will have it forwarded to the one responsible.
