hii friends:
I wish to apply for an LLM to Harvard/ stanford/ columbia for the 2012-13 session. It'll be a great eye opener if you guys can evaluate my chances of making it to any of these programs (assuming that no reasoning is fool proof :))
Background: I have done my law from a very new national law school in India (comparatively lesser known as it is recently established). I was in the top 5% of my class and won 2 gold medals including one for over all performance in law school. I have few publications (which are co-authored). I have participated in moots etc (tough never won any). I have passed out in 2010 and since then i am working with one of the leading law firm in India in the corporate/ commercial division. For a 2012 admission I would have completed 2 years of work experience.
also, will any social work contribution in my cv increase my chances of a scholarship/ getting through (i am not sure of how much weightage is attached to it)
I would appreciate all of yours views greatly.
Prospective student- what are the odds?
