sorry for my bad English ... I just start an intensive course ...
... I'm an Italian Law Student at the last year of University, I just work in a Law Firm from two year and I want start to study US Law and Legal System ... so I think to start my preparation for an US LLM ... I start an intensive English Course and I buy " Introduction to Law and Legal System of United States" ... can somethings tell me if this book is a good idea to start ... and Black's Law Dictionary is a good book for the bighinner??? Please give me some advice about book, article or more to start me intensive preparation!

Hi IvanoR! How are you? I am also applying for LL.M Programs. I haven't heard about this book, but I red some reviews on amazon.com and they say it is very good. I myself am looking to buy a book to prepare for LL.M. I saw this book called "Law 101: Everything You Need to Know about the American Legal System", but I think the book you got might be better for foreign students. I don't know. Are you liking it so far? Let me know..

Hi Roberta! ... Are you US J.D.? I'm buy " Introduction to Law and Legal ... " because in this book, there are all the argument of the fisrt year in Law School ... Torts ... Civil and Criminal Procedure ... ecc. ... and also because If I want really go in US Law School for a LLM, I must to prepare to study with this tipe of book ... more difficult, but real law book; I don't read nothing on my book ... infact I don't yet receive the Book from US ... Do you know Black's Law Dictionary ... I read this is a important book for US Lawyer and law Student ... What do you tink? What do you do to prepare the Admission at LLM? Bye Ivano

Hi Ivano! I got my fisrt law degree in Brazil, I'm not a US J.D.
I've seen this Black's Law Dictionary in libraries, but I don't know if it is good or not.
Have you already applied for any LL.M Program? I have, and I'm waiting for responses. I want to prepare for it by reading this kind of book you mentioned, but also I intend to take a summer law program, what is classes about introduction to american legal system and other subjects.
