Hi all,
Please post any recent post-Tax LLM employment stats here if you can find them. Decision time will be soon at hand, and I'm sure many of us are apprehensive, considering today's economy.
NYU's posted stats only go up to 2002, so they're not really useful.
NW posted class of 2007 stats: 94% employed within 9 months - but this could include any number of part-time, temp and non-tax jobs, I think.
Anybody know any recent grads?

one of my former classmates (i went to a t20) graduated from g-town tax last may. he has not yet found a permanent job.
honestly, the more i research the tax llm degree, the more i find myself turned off. my general conclusion: employment numbers are not impressive - even among the top 3 programs.
at the end of the day, if you're convinced the tax llm is for you then you better be sure you're entering a top program. that's just my two cents, of course.

What degrees does your friend have (except LLM)? JD, MBA, foreign JD?
