Guys, you are so dramatic about the choices. Whatever school you go to (if it is top 10), give you approximately the same number of chances. Ultimately, it is your background, language skills and your grades that make a difference. UPenn or NYU does not really matter that much.
The only difference is the place whare you gonna spend a year of your life...
Penn w.scholarship/ NYU no scholar...didnt ask for a scholarship to Penn

Hi Lucinda and others
I am not sure what you decided but as a current student at NYU with no schol well i would any day take a top 10 school which is paying for my education. One because being an LLM at NYU does not guarantee job. For that matter any top school does not come with a job guarantee. having a schol looks better on your CV and firms will defintely notice that. NYU is no different from other top schools except its in NYC but you will have little time to appreciate the city as you will studying most of the time.. i hope you make the right decisions. Good luck guys

Hello Subslaw!
I decided for Northwestern. A 90% tuition waiver is something to consider... although the offer of a Pro Bono Fellowship at Columbia is still driving me crazy! It seems so nice. But I cannot afford paying Columbia and living in NY.
Do you think the chances of getting a job with a LLM from Northwestern plus a fellowship in Human Rights are good???
Thank you for your help!
Ciao!
