Did anybody hear from Penn today? They have informed me that they would send the decisions "before March 1", but I didn't hear anything from them yet...

I applied early action and was deferred to the regular cycle. Then, they sent me an email and gave me this information.

In the FAQS, at their website, they say most applicants will be contacted until mid march....I am starting to get anxious.

"we anticipate taking action on all applications -- "admit",
"reject", or "wait list" -- before March 1".
That is the email... Let's wait!
Good luck!

DID EVERYONE GET THE SAME MAIL!!!!!!!!
COZ THIS IS WAT I GOT..
On behalf of the Graduate and International Programs Committee, I would like to offer you a position on the Wait List for Penn Law's LL.M. class of 2007-2008.
I regret not being able to provide a more definitive response to your candidacy at this time. You should know that the Committee reviewed approximately 1000 applications for about 80 places in this year's class. Your credentials within this group are strong, but do not permit us to take further action until we hear back from some of those who have already been offered a place. In this sense, the Committee's decision necessarily reflects the limitations of space as much as an assessment of your academic achievement and potential.
Based on past experience, the Law School will begin to make offers of admission to waitlisted candidates in April and then continue through the following months. We are neither able to estimate how many offers will be made nor elaborate on your position relative to others on the list. We will, however, inform you as soon the class has been closed.
My colleagues and I appreciate your patience throughout this process, as well as your interest in Penn Law.

i got my acceptance today!
Posted Mar 01, 2007 19:04
In, too.
Congrats to those who where accepted, and good luck to those who were waitlisted.
Please note that, according to the very nice Assistant Dean at Penn, scholarships, tuition waivers, admissions to the Wharton Certificate program, and some research positions are not generally decided until later in March.
Best,
-JC-
