Ah, OK. Well, Congrats lisa11!!

I'm still waiting...and I hold an American JD so I might be waiting to hear something until June though I genuinely hope not!

I'm in too! International tax program.

Has anyone been offered the Gerald L. Wallace scholarship?

I'd say NYU has better cost performance even no financial assistance is provided. BTW, what's your deadline of accepting their offer?

As far as I remember the only rejection on the app tracker is for the taxation program, which we all know has a different schedule.

Being realistic, I am almost admitting that I have not been accepted by NYU. And don't worry @dggc, you are not the only Brazilian waiting for the answer.

@spcity and @dggc: Guys, I am with you in this battle. But let's keep our hope alive! NYU has a bunch of places and several admitted fellows in this post have already poited out that they won't accept the offer. Rejections, if they come, will be sent after the deadline of April 15. Well, this is what I want to believe... Fingers crossed!

@LLM2011-2012
Congrats! I read that someone else was admitted too for International Tax Program. I am now getting really nervous... Could you please share your credentials and background- country, class rank, work experience, etc?

We should hear something today hopefully - don't really want it to spill into the weekend!

I think that scholarships are still out there and that not everything has been given.

So keep the faith guys! Generally they send out results in the afternoon/evening, between around 2 and 8pm NY time.

We should make a pact: even if we don't hear from NYU this Friday, we solemnly swear to go out this weekend, enjoy ourselves and party like it is 1999 (or 2009, if you prefer). Deal?

Ok, overlooking the fact that I should be writing my thesis as well, we shall make an exception for you. Instead, you must promise you will be productive thesis-wise, ok?

Top 5% of my class (GPA 9.27 out of 10.00), 2 years of experience in a brazilian prestigious law firm, post-graduation in tax in progress, 105 on the TOEFL (lived one year in the US) and a previous biology degree.

Oh, and earlier today I sent an e-mail to the Admissions Office asking if they had reviewed my application and if they needed any further information in order to release the decision. I don't know if it had anything to do with that, since I did not receive a response to this e-mail... It was probably a coincidence.

I hope all of you get your responses today! Best luck to everybody!
