NYU specifically has an LLM in corporate law and as you mentioned its ranking is constantly better. Employers will prefer specialized LLM over general LLM. The only problem with NYU is that cost of living is slightly more expensive. But if you have to pay additional fees for the Wharton certificate then UPenn LLM will be more expensive. Also it seems that many people are still waiting for decision from NYU so you are lucky to already have a decision. With all this the details may be known to you like the scholarships etc. to specially answer your question re T7 and T6 - no- it really doesn’t matter. It is just one number and it may change all the time. Location is also better for NYU. Obviously many people prefer nyc, ny legal market is friendly to llms and more. That however doesn’t mean UPenn is bad. Stats show many UPenn (jds, not sure about llm) work in nyc.
