So did you call them today? What did they say?

They said it will be at least 72 business hours before I can activate a NetID to register for classes... They also suggested that I try calling the registrar's office tomorrow, but that w/o the NetID it'd probably be to no avail. =(

Sorry to hear that, at least you will be able to register for the spring semester during the lottery. As for the fall semester, most classes are pretty large so I am sure you will be able to get into what you want.

From the statistics it seems like in the 2 most recent semesters posted, not a single tax course has met full capacity.
However, they sped up the process for me so I can now register for courses. ... which I believe I did successfully assuming [1B and 1C] = [first alternate, and second alternative choice, respectively] in the event that 1A is taken.

Yeah 1B and 1C are the alternates, and will be disregarded if you get 1A. What classes did you sign up for.
