I am getting a server error when I try to access my Applicant Online Status Check. Anyone having the same problem?

@PELLM - I have applied for the international tax program as well and i still haven't received a decision from them as well. lets hope for the best!!

NYU is a great school but if I were you, I would choose UPenn for sure! Besides the Wharton Certificate, UPenn is one of the best schools in the U.S. and it is part of Ivy League.

I really am still quite split on the decision. I want to focus on corporate/transactional courses and from my research it would appear that Upenn has a leg up on that. Also the Wharton certificate appears to really sway in its favour. However, on the other side I think that the fact that NYU is in NYC cannot be overlooked as a consideration since its not all about the academics for a year LLM and is also a very good program. Columbia is still my first choice and i requested an expedited decision from them yesterday so I hope that will save me from making a very hard call!

Until last week I was making exactly the same decision. In my case the Wharton certificate seemed a little to expensive. I chose NYU as I preferred NY over Philadelphia, and in any case in US News NYU is still better ranked slightly this year. It is true that NY is more expensive as a city but the tuition of Upenn is higher, so the costs of both are very much even. At the end I also almost ended up tossing a coin, however I think after sufficient research what matters is in which university you see yourself as they are both great choices.

The UPenn program however gave me a much broader understanding of not only the law itself but also my options in "thr real world" once the course was over. In all my interviews the fact that i had graduated fryom an Ivy League univ seemed to have made much more of a difference to my interviewer. And in regards to ny leaving it gets old after the first month. It is hard to share an apartment the size of a closet with other 3 people and hardly make the rent.

Thank you guys for your answers. Besides the additional financial burden of the wharton certificate and missing out on the fun of ny city, Penn seems to be more advantageous.

Hi, I applied to the International Legal Studies Part Time program. I submitted my application on February 12, and received the confirmation on the 14th that my application was complete. While the PT deadline is June 3, I am seeing many people posting that they are already receiving acceptances! Congrats, but now I am wondering if I applied far too late. Any thoughts or comments from other PT or FT ILS applicants? Thanks!
