For those asking about the timeline of NYU, I completed my app to the General Tax LLM on 2/12 and was accepted on 2/16. I just received a Dean's Graduate Award today for $45,000. I am unsure what is the normal timeframe for NYU but know many of my friends with similar credentials, from the same U.S. law school, and applied around the same time who have yet to hear about acceptance/rejection.
Do you know roughly how many people have been accepted to the General Tax LLM so far?

I would imagine most of the class has already been admitted. For me, the seat deposit deadline is in a few days, so perhaps they are still a few applicants who will be admitted if those already offered a spot decline.

Just received a Dean's Award as well. Am grateful but was actually expecting more... Would the credential of being a merit-based scholarship recipient be worthwhile to choose NYU over Columbia? Would appreciate your thoughts. And good luck to everyone! 
Hi, may I know the deadline to place deposit for the admitted students with scholarship granted? The admission letter says April 1 while the scholarship letter says April 5. Thanks in advance for any reply.1f603

Not sure how many have been admitted. But I recently spoke to a representative at NYU and he mentioned that the admissions committee generally sends out many decisions over the next few weeks, so we may hear from them soon! Good luck!
