NYU is one of the most famous law school for international laws. You won't be disappointed.

I think Columbia has only one general LLM program. Congratulations on your admission to Columbia!

I did not mean to say NYU is better than Columbia. I just meant to say how good NYU's international legal studies program is.
In fact, if I have a choice between these two, I will choose Columbia.

Columbia's international law also has very good reputation, definitely no worse than NYU or Georgetown.

What is your concern? What do you want to to after LLM? Why do you have problem making a decision between these two? If you tell me more, I may try to help you a bit more by hitting the point directly.

i really appreciate the help. Thing is that i want to work with the United Nations or even working at a law firm i wudnt mind. I'm taking a loan to finance myself at either institution and i want to make sure i have ample oppurtunities to get a good job after graduation since i'm going to have to pay this loan off as quickly as possible.

Organizations in general pay you very little for internships (probably not too mush more than enough to pay for living espense), except for executive/managerial level jobs which always requires more than 10y experience!!! If you hope to pay off your debt, job in a law firm will be more helpful. I personally won't put my hope to pay my debts on organization jobs.

International law in law firms??? I don't have enough knowledge to tell you much about it. I know a little bit because my focus is international law too (mainly international trade-related issues). I think governments or organizations will have more needs for international law lawyers. In my home country, BIG firms will take cases from governments and deal with international law issues. However, I don't think private law firms' demand of internaitonal lawyers is high at all.
