NYU Hauser Global Scholarship - timeline

Hey, I'm curious about when NYU sent out Hauser scholarships in past years. I saw in previous year's posts that Hausers are generally sent some time around 20 March, but are they sent at the same time of LLM admission or separately?

Do people receive their offer letter together with a Hauser scholarship (offer letter at the same time as Hauser in march) or are they sent at different times (e.g. admitted in January, scholarship offer in March)?

Thanks.

All Hauser awardees are informed towards the end of March, after general merit scholarships have been awarded, irrespective of when they received the admission offers.

If you've received a Dean's merit scholarship, it's unlikely you will be getting a Vanderbilt or Hauser after that.

Further, some Vanderbilt scholars will be placed on the reserve list for Hauser and they can expect an upgrade if someone declines the Hauser.

Good luck!

Would you happen to know if the decisions released earlier in the cycle (Jan - Feb) are released in order of merit? Any idea whether applicants who receive decisions later in the cycle have a chance of securing scholarships, importantly, Hauser? Thank you! Any indication is welcome. :)

Hi, I´ve recently been in a zoom conference with NYU Grad officers and they said that they'd be sending financial aid e-mails by the end of March. However, they also said that if we had another options from other universities (which asked us to confirm acceptance before April 1st) and we had no reply from NYU by then, we should ask for an extension of the due date. I'm pretty anxious, tbh. As soon as I receive an e-mail from NYU regarding financial aid, I'll let you know :)
